Ways that leaders can manage construction in schools:

1. Make sure that clear guidelines regarding construction are easily available to all staff, students and parents.
2. Ensure that the construction site is off limits to any students and other non-required personnel to maintain safety.
3. Keep everyone within the school community updated on the progress of construction. Including estimated completion date, future use of site etc.
4. Make sure if any safety issues arise that you contact the contractor conducting the work at your site immediately.
