Following on from our successful Stage 1 project providing waterproof cover to one of the College’s basketball court, Greenline were re-engaged to complete the planned Stage 2 structure. As this extended from the columns on the southern edge of the basketball court structure, accuracy and attention-to-detail were critical to ensure a seamless integration between the two structures. Key outcomes for Stage 2 were to avoid damage to the existing synthetic surface and to link through to existing covered walkway areas for truly all-weather access.
The two completed projects have minimised the risk to the College by dealing with Greenline as the one end-to-end design and construct provider. Having been involved right from the earliest phase of Stage 1 we were able to stage the projects to suit budget requirements while optimising the design to maximise the overall project value for money. With 660m2 already under roof in Stage 1, the completed Stage 2 structure provides an additional 1460m2 of coverage – an amazing College with amazing ‘Spaces to Grow’!
